The Utah Transit Authority seems to be Utah’s problem child. Frankly, if you ask Utah voters, they probably trust the UTA about as much as they trust the IRS. It’s time to make some changes now, so the UTA can regain the public trust and be more efficient with our tax dollars. Instead of political insiders appointing the UTA board, I propose Utah voters elect that board. No more back room deals by career politicians. Utah can do it better. Let’s solve this problem together. Let’s make the UTA accountable to taxpayers.
